MESSAGE FROM BEN GOMERSALL ABOUT AGAPE FOR THE WALKS:
As Agape Coordinator for Borderlands Emmaus, I would like to ask everyone to please be making AGAPE gifts & setting aside time for the next four walks.
I will collect AGAPE for each walk at my house, 300 Northwind, El Paso 79912. You can contact me at 915-584-4537, Fax: 915-581-1339 or e-mail at gomersall@elp.rr.com . If you know a team member, sponsor, driver, etc. you may take your things to them or with you instead of bringing them to me. AGAPE can be any of the following ideas and much much more. These are some ideas I have seen in the past
Sign up for the 72 HR Prayer Vigil Chapel Prayer Vigil onsite needs prayer warriors Food, homebaked is the best. Food, store bought is good too. Food- cookies, brownies, candy, chips, crackers, cheese, fruit, trail mix-sweet or salty, CHOCOLATE(for the women)(no calories because praising God burns lots of calories), and we all remember what was the best item on our own Walk. Water, Sodas, Diet Sodas, Water, Bottled Tea, Bottled Lemonade, Bottled Juices, Water, and Water. $$$-Cash or Check is always welcomed
Serve on the Support Team for as long as you want. - Help with organizing food, help set up the site, help take down the site; putting things back together for the next weekend (always, always, always needed), help in the dining room before Pilgrims have a meal, help set out AGAPE gifts, Candlelight setup, Closing setup, Chapel setup a few times a day, and these are only a minor few things you could help with during the weekend as a Support member.
Please feel free to call me or email me with any questions or comments or suggestions you may have for me. I may not know the answer, but I promise I will do my best to find out the correct answer.
NOW! It is time for us to share with someone we know who needs special time with our Lord. Sign 'em up TODAY
